The series is faithful to the Gospel stories but it offers a backstory on some of the main characters in the four Gospels who are either Jesus' disciples or those in power at the time. It tells the story of Jesus with a broad brush. This series on the life and ministry of Jesus is different. Lectio Divina sounds like something that ought to be happening only in monasteries and convents but with the resources available through this site (and many others) parents can help their families find some quiet time around the scriptures.
