Ross six brothers, Thomas Ross, Robert Ross Jr., Henry Ross, Blanding Ross, Carl H. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Donald A. Ross and his wife Shirley of Dalzell two sisters, Annie DuBose of Sumter and Carolyn Apperson of Jacksonville, FL four grandchildren, Kimberly Corley and her husband Henry, Shannon McKellar, Clint McKellar and his wife Mariah and Breanna Ross six great grandchildren, Logan, Nathan, Jackson, Katie, Jack and Bryce. and his wife Frieda of Cayce two daughters, Jane McKellar and her husband Fred of Dalzell and Sheila Ross of Dalzell one brother, James W. Surviving in addition to his wife Linda is one son, David Ross Jr. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered as a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He loved to go fishing and was always serving his community and helping people in any way that he could. David was a long time member of Dalzell UMC, a member of the Sumter Shrine Club and was a founding member of Safe Federal Credit Union. He also served as a past manager and director of the Dalzell Water District. David loved to work on his farm and retired from Shaw AFB as a Civil Service employee. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during WWII.
